Shane Muller's Baseball Profile - 2011 Class

I am a versatile player that has been asked to play many different positions. I have tried to show brief videos that display my skills in several different aspects of the greatest game ever . . . . . . . . Baseball !!

Shane has been the heart and soul of the Cecil County Cobras Travel Baseball Club the last four seasons (13u, 14u,15u & 16u). Offensively, Shane has been a permanent fixture in the three hole, displaying good power, a great eye and the ability to lay down the bunt when needed. Defensively, Shane has been the staff ace and the guy to go to when a win was needed. He also played a very solid shortstop and at age 13, Shane even filled in at catcher late in the season because he was the only one with the confidence and ability to get the job done when the team was in need.



Shane is very coachable and a real pleasure to be around. He is a team leader that works very hard and pushes each and every one of his teammates to play to the best of their abilities. Very aggressive, extremely confident and versatility are some of Shanes key attributes.



The Cecil County Cobras are a select travel baseball club made up of the best players in Cecil County, Md. The team has been very successful over the past four seasons competing in tournaments throughout the state of Maryland,Delaware,New York and Pennsylvania. The Cobras claimed multiple tournament championships in their first two seasons while also claiming their league title each season. In 2009, the Cobras won the Maryland Babe Ruth State Championship and finished with a record of 2-2 in the Mid Atlantic Regional in Saugerties, NY. In 2010 the team has captured two tournament titles as of the end of June and are preparing to compete in the ECTB National Championship Series.



The Cobras plan to compete again in 2011 as a 17u team and Shane will be the first player contacted for signing.
